Headboard Or No Headboard

If you have a headboard, two elastic straps on the back slip straight over it. That holds the pillow in place so it cannot slide down or tip forward, and it covers the hard surface you were leaning against.

If you do not have one, stand it against the wall at the head of the bed. It is wide and deep enough to stay upright on its own and becomes the headboard.

No tools, no fixings and nothing screwed into the wall, so it works in a rental just as well as anywhere else.

Care & Cleaning

The cover is fully removable. Unzip it from the bottom, slip the buttons through the holes, and machine or hand wash on a low temperature gentle cycle. Please air dry.

Spare covers are available separately, so you can keep one on the bed while the other is in the wash, or change the color whenever you want a different look.

Do I need an existing headboard to use it?

No. It works both ways. With a headboard, the two elastic straps slip over it and hold everything in place. Without one, stand it against the wall at the head of the bed and it becomes the headboard on its own.

Which size should I order?

Order the size named after your bed. Twin / Twin XL (38 in) for a Twin or Twin XL, Queen / Full (58 in) for a Queen or Full, and King / Cal King (78 in) for a King or California King. The size guide above has every bed width listed, and all three sizes are the same height and depth, so only the width changes.

What if my bed is a Full or a California King?

Order Queen / Full for a Full, and King / Cal King for a California King. On those two beds the pillow sits a few inches wider than the mattress, which is deliberate. It keeps the backrest running edge to edge rather than leaving a bare gap at the sides.

Will the straps fit my headboard?

The straps are elastic, so they stretch over most standard headboards. If yours is unusually thick or a shape they will not go over, the pillow still works perfectly well standing against it unstrapped, exactly as it does against a bare wall.

Does it need any tools or fixing to the wall?

None at all. Nothing is drilled, screwed or stuck to anything, which is why it suits rented flats and dorm rooms where you cannot touch the walls.
