Will it fit my chairs?
If your seat is about 15 to 18 inches wide and 15 to 18 inches deep, and your backrest is 18 to 24 inches tall, it will fit. The stretch fabric handles small differences either side. Measuring takes a minute and removes all the guesswork.
Does it cover the whole chair or just the seat?
The whole chair. It is a one-piece cover that goes over the backrest and down over the seat, so the back and the seat are both covered. The legs stay visible.
Will it fit a chair with arms?
No. These are made for armless dining chairs. A chair with arms needs a different cut, and this cover will not sit correctly over them.
How many do I need?
One per chair. Each cover is priced per chair so you can buy exactly the number you have. Most dining sets need four or six, and bundles save you more.
Will it slide when someone sits down?
The elastic hem pulls in underneath the seat and holds it in place. On a very slippery seat you may need to straighten it now and then, but it will not shift through normal use.
Is it fully waterproof?
It has a water-resistant finish, so most everyday spills like water, juice or a splash of sauce bead on the surface and wipe off with a damp cloth. Blot spills promptly. A large spill left to soak will eventually work through, so it is best thought of as strong spill protection rather than a sealed barrier.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then air dry or tumble dry on low. Skip the bleach and the iron. It comes out wrinkle free and refits in about a minute.
