Reva Handwoven Natural Jute Striped Area Rug
Most striped jute rugs have one tell. The brown is uneven, blotchy in places, because the fibre was never sorted before it was woven.
Reva is sorted shade by shade, by hand, with all dark root fibres removed. That is slow, and it is the reason the brown reads as one warm even tone across the whole rug instead of patches.
The stripe itself is clean and simple, natural brown against white, so it works as a quiet base rather than something the rest of the room has to accommodate.

- Hand sorted shade by shade. Every strand graded before weaving, which is what gives the even tone.
- Handwoven on a traditional loom. Not machine made, so the stripes stay true across the full width.
- Extra scissor finishing. Less shedding and no jute fibres left on your socks.
- Tucked in edges. Hold steady through everyday foot traffic instead of working loose.
- Mellows to ivory. The white softens over time, which is part of the character of a natural fibre rug.
The commonest mistake with a natural fibre rug is going one size too small, which leaves a room looking unfinished. Use the right hand column as your starting point.

Handcrafted, so allow up to 3% variation on finished dimensions. A 2' x 3' set of three is also available if you want matching mats for a kitchen or hallway.
A simple stripe is the most forgiving pattern in a busy room. If you already have prints on the walls or a patterned sofa, this gives you texture without adding to the noise.
It works in a living room, under a dining table, along a hallway, in a bedroom, or in an entryway where it will take the most traffic.

Vacuum with the beater bar off, or use a suction only setting. Shake the smaller sizes out.
Blot straight away with a dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub the weave.
Turn it every few months so wear and sunlight land evenly across the rug.
Jute is a natural fibre. Wipe spills quickly and avoid soaking, which is what causes marks.
