The outer cover unzips and goes straight in the washing machine on cold. Tumble dry low. The foam core inside has its own protective inner liner that stays on permanently — you only ever need to wash the outer cover. Most customers do a wash every 4-6 weeks.
The wedge works well from roughly 5'2" up through 6'4". Taller users sometimes pair it with a small additional pillow behind the head for extra height. The wedge itself supports the upper back and shoulders, so the height question is mainly about head position.
